About - Doris and Us

This is our blog. Our Camping. Life. Adventure.

We are Ed and Kirsty. Doris is our van, our way of escaping what the city throws at us. She's our Camper, our Vee Dub, our Camperbus.

And she's awesome.

We've set up our blog so we can share our road trips, review camp sites and events, share the food we cook and repairs we make. We hope you enjoy it.

This is how we roll.

And this is Doris.

She (yes, she's a lady) is a 1981 Volkswagen Transporter. She has a cooker, a sink, a fridge, a double bed and a pop top roof.

Everything you'd ever need.

And 1600 cc aircooled engine, with 50 hp. Hills are not her strong point.

But that doesn't stop her being awesome.
